Frequently Asked Questions
What are LUTs and how do they work?
LUTs are filters for videos that instantly change the colors and style to create a specific look. They’re an easy & fast way to make your videos look more polished and professional without needing advanced editing skills.
Are these LUTs compatible with my editing software?
Yes! These LUTs work with most popular editing software, including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and more. They’re also compatible with other video editing apps that support .CUBE files, so you can use them on nearly any platform.
How do I know these LUTs will look good on my videos?
Each LUT pack includes a variety of options, so you can find the perfect match for your videos. They’re tested on different footage to ensure they work well with various lighting and colors. You can also preview before-and-after examples on our website to see how they perform on real clips. Plus, our video tutorial shows you how to tweak each LUT for the best results, ensuring your videos look exactly how you want them.
Do these LUTs work on footage from any camera?
Yes, LUTs work with footage shot on any camera! They’re designed to enhance colors and tones, regardless of your camera. Whether you’re shooting with a DJI Osmo POcket 3, a DSLR, mirrorless camera, action cam, or even a smartphone, the LUTs can be applied to your footage. For the best results, we recommend using footage shot in a flat or Log profile (we include conversion luts for the most popular camera's), but they’ll still work great on standard profiles too.
What if the LUTs don't look right on my videos?
If the LUT doesn’t look right on your footage, don’t worry! LUTs are fully customizable, so you can adjust settings like intensity, contrast, and exposure to fit your video perfectly. Sometimes small tweaks, such as adjusting the brightness or white balance, can make a big difference. Our video tutorial walks you through these adjustments step-by-step to help you achieve the exact look you’re going for.
