This policy covers The Looks Lab app for iPhone ("the app"). The app is made by JCDP BV, trading as The Looks Lab, Heidestraat 8, 2330 Merksplas, Belgium (info@thelookslab.com). Our online shop at thelookslab.com has its own privacy policy.
No data collected
The app does not collect, store or share personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not send information about you or your videos to us or to anyone else.
Your videos stay on your iPhone
Clips you import are copied into the app's own storage on your iPhone and processed there. They are never uploaded. When you export, the graded video is saved to your Photos library using "add only" access, so the app cannot see or read the rest of your library. Deleting a clip in the app removes the app's copy; deleting the app removes all clips and grades it stored.
Settings stored on your device
The app remembers things like your preferences, favourite looks, presets and your answer to "What did you film this in?" for each camera. This information stays on your iPhone and is not sent to us.
Purchases
The Looks Lab Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and manages your subscription. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to these purchases: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Information from Apple
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics such as the number of downloads and crash reports. These do not identify you.
Backups
If iCloud Backup or computer backups are turned on, Apple may include the app's files in those backups. This is managed by Apple, not by us.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and keep them no longer than needed for that.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because the app does not collect personal data, we do not hold app data about you. If you have a question about your privacy or want to exercise your rights under the GDPR or other laws, contact info@thelookslab.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
